The day will feature the launch of flagship Knowledge Compendiums — including the Casebooks on AI in Health, Energy, Education, Agriculture, Gender Empowerment and Disabilities — alongside a focused Seminar on Applied AI.

18 February 2026, Wednesday
The day bridges research and practice. The Research Symposium convenes leading academics, researchers and think tanks to showcase cutting-edge AI research, emerging methodologies and evidence-based policy insights. Dedicated Industry Sessions bring together global technology leaders, startups and sector champions to present scalable solutions, real-world deployments and future-ready innovations.

19 February 2026, Thursday
The Formal Opening Ceremony is led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. A high-level CEO Roundtable convenes global industry leaders, investors and policymakers to deliberate on strategic priorities, investment pathways and the future of responsible AI. The Leaders’ Plenary brings together national and international decision-makers to shape collective commitments, strengthen global partnerships and define India’s leadership in the AI decade ahead.

20 February 2026, Friday
High-level GPAI Council Meetings convene member countries to review progress, align priorities and strengthen multilateral cooperation on responsible and inclusive AI. The Leaders’ Declaration is adopted, affirming collective commitments and outlining a shared roadmap for global AI governance and collaboration.

Cultural Evening, February 17 & 20, 2026
Celebrating culture in the age of AI, the Summit curates two special evenings that illuminate India’s cultural narratives within a rapidly evolving technological era. On February 17, India’s Journey from Tradition to Technology brings classical and folk traditions into a contemporary dialogue. On February 20, Hornbill Dream – Where Tradition Meets Technology presents a dynamic confluence of heritage and innovation. The evening of February 17 will also feature the felicitation of the Global Impact Challenges winners.
